Ellen

...the kitten who thought she was a chicken.  In autumn 2000, the farm ladies would occasionally see a kitten hanging around the barn, but she would never allow anyone near her.  Come the winter...Ellen disappeared into the woods and they figured, after not seeing her for several months, she must be dead.  

In the Spring of 2001, Ellen emerged from the forest having somehow survived the winter.  She agreed to let the farmers feed her.  From that day forward she has spent her life sleeping with, and wandering the day long with the chickens.  She almost never leaves their company and she still won't allow anyone to touch her.

If she's a kitten who thinks she's a chicken, does that make her a kitchen? ;-)
