Gottle a geer!

Eldest has decided he wants to be a ventriloquist, so we took him to see the master! Master Craftsmen, Master Puppeteer, the most celebrated puppeteer in the world - Mr John M Blundall.

Mr Blundall spent an hour with us demonstrating some of the puppets he's made, including one of the very first marionettes he made at the age of 15. His puppets are things of beauty. He even let my boys have a shot of some of his collection. They feel quite privileged, and rightly so.

You can see Mr Blundall in the background behind one of his creations. It's only Parker from the Thunderbirds. The man is a legend!
