Cake in the oven

Fabulous day.

All woke up leisurely and had slow breakfast. Very casje and just nice. Slowly got dressed and Jennie and Adam went home to sort cats. walk Freckle and give us time to get the decorating done. 
I also went home to feed cats, sheep and chickens plus picking up a film for Jessica's camera and flowers for the table. Got back about half and hour before J&A and everything was ready as she walked through the door. Looked lovely. 

Once we were all 'ready' ie put our faces on and party frocks, we started the present giving. As she's going to be 30 (not actually till Wednesday) we got her 30 presents between us - some silly, cheap ones and more special ones. All presents were numbered and she had to throw darts to get the number for a present. Was great fun. As the place had bar stools it meant she could sit down to throw them - being 7 1/2 months pregnant that helped lol. 
Also being 7 1/2 months pregnant meant no drinking for the 30th birthday girl but obviously as the rest of us weren't even a little bit pregnant we could quaff to our hearts content. 
Had cock/mocktails and then champagne with the cake. (Well I had the champagne - no other bugger wanted it once I'd opened it so there was a half bottle that went back in the fridge with a teaspoon in the top to keep the fizz, till tomorrow)
