Awake to find thick snow everywhere - even lying on the road out the front. Usually I love the arrival of snow but I was worried that it would put the kybosh on a good turnout at the FCYC Christmas Party at 2pm. But not so. A good crowd did show up, and we did the prize-giving, ate the food, held the raffle, did pass the parcel and finally sang the Corinthian Christmas song. 
And then I was picked up and whisked homeward along with the wee granddaughter who was staying the night. What else? Ah yes, France v England. A very entertaining game for the neutral. Fine margins indeed and when poor ‘arry skyed his second penalty rather than equalise with six minutes to go, it wor all over. So it’s going to be between France, Argentina, Croatia and Morocco. Croatia v Morocco in the final then?
