Rainy Day Treat

Saturday morning...I looked at my alarm clock, it was about 8am. I jumped up from my bed because my boy should wake up at 7am for his fencing lesson. It was raining outside, so the sun was not really up yet. I woke him up, but my boy said "Mom, it's still 5:40am".

We both had short sleep till 7:15am and he left home as scheduled.

While he had his fencing lesson, I went to see a movie at Sannomiya and bought cakes at Mikage Takasugi of Sogo Department Store as a treat. The cake putting on strawberries is his favorite, and also known as one of the best in Kobe.

The tea of the day was black tea called Dianhong goden tips. "Dian" means Yunnan Province where is the southern mountain area bordering with Myanmar, Laos, and Vietnam. Actually "black tea" in China means Pu-er tea, but dian-hong is so called black tea in the West. Dianhong is light taste and has sweet aroma.?If you have a chance, please try!
