West Woods, Lockeridge

We went for a walk in the bluebell woods near Marlborough. They are such a beautiful sight- and the smell.....The woods were well maintained by the forestry commission and had been planted in 1937.

I used to love going into the woods to look at the bluebells as a child, but MrCFJ has no memories of bluebell woods- he lived in South Devon and there were few wooded areas around.
