Speckled Wood butterfly

Up early this morning as C. is working. Didn't go out early for a walk, weather not that good. Been a changeable day, one minute sun, then rain, still quite windy too! Took mum to hospital and then did some gardening for her. Had coffee with a friend this morning and tea with another this afternoon. Did get a walk in and took this shot of a butterfly I hadn't seen before, so had to look it up. Probably better large. Found the trick with butterflies is to stand still and eventually they come near enough to get a blip!
