Night Sky

I pointed my phone towards the region of Cassiopeia and Andromeda hoping to catch some Geminid meteors. Despite the sky being full of planes and satellites there were no Geminids. Maybe a sporadic meteor or two but that's it.
Tomorrow night will be the peak of the shower and with clear skies forecast I'll try a bit harder.
They are called the Geminids because they appear to emanate from a point in the constellation Gemini.
