How Great

Weird day.

I had a remote interview scheduled for 2pm, but I was waiting for the interviewers to start the call for half an hour until I emailed the fellow who organised it. Eventually he responded saying he didn't know what was happening and that one of the interviewers was unavailable. Didn't mention the other interviewer though, so I guess he just couldn't be bothered.

Fellow said he'd try to reschedule ASAP but I've heard nothing. No problem, it's not like I've got much going on.

Oh nevermind, the agent sent an email saying the inspection of our flat will be happening either tomorrow or Thursday between 10am to 5pm. So now rescheduling that interview is going to cause problems because at any point in the next 2 days the agent and maybe the landlord will come in. Fantastic.

Furthermore, the agent told us back in October that the inspection would happen "in the next few days or weeks" and said we'd have at least 24 hours notice. We got that email at 4pm and the earliest they could come is 10am tomorrow. That's not 24 hours.

So a manic cleaning of the flat was required. We were planning on doing one soon anyway so at least that's done.

Utterly freezing today. Wore a turtleneck over a jumper and 2 pairs of socks.
