Oops

After a storm a couple of weeks ago, a good portion of the paved walking path broke off when the supporting rocks rolled out to sea. The city has placed barriers to keep people and cars safe while repairs are being planned. This accident has reopened the discussion about the fate of the road along the coast: should it be made one-way? and which way would that be? could you please all of the neighbors, not to mention the general population? would the new design resist the elements longer than the previous iteration? It goes on and on. For the moment, we just walk along the narrow part along the barriers.

ExtraDays flew home this afternoon, unfortunately having had a rough day due to catching a nasty cold. I will miss her easy companionship and good humor. It was a good week.
