A late night EB as seen on display at Jamie's just before midnight.

A very busy day and largely fruitful.  The OT and contractor meeting at Ruth's this morning was mostly very positive even though the areas of contention were not able to be addressed.   Having an experienced contractor on site to assess what options are feasible proved very illuminating.  The issue of ramped access looks like it can be resolved in a way that will work well for Ruth, despite not being what was her previously preferred option.   In the kitchen his plans matched Ruth's, without her letting on what she thought beforehand.   The bathroom remains unresolved as the most suitable option, a specialist bath, was not agreed by the OT panel, challenging that has to be done through a different channel .... and despite early promise, they have not been in touch since my appeal letter of four weeks ago :-/    However, there was an air of positivity this morning which gave us a lift.

A GP phone appointment this morning led to a face to face one this afternoon which was helpful.   More kitchen sorting, laundry, a trip to Wickes, some daffodils planted .... a productive day all round.   My energy levels seem back to normal which is just as well, I didn't get back to Jamie's until late.  His flat seems empty now that Clara has gone home but there's a new arrival expected very soon, one who is sure to feature here :-)

A few days at home - Phew! - before I go back next week to support Ruth through some complicated dental work.  Then she's coming back here for Christmas.
