Some 'cool' tea tins

It's been a nice day today with great weather for the weekend, yay!

Had worship practice first thing, followed by lunch and then an afternoon nap, which I seemed to have really needed, only to be woken up to Ben bringing me a big bunch of lilies for Mother's Day tomorrow. What an absolute gem he is!!!!

We attended a dinner/live jazz music event later in the evening which was better than we expected and featured our very dear friend Andrew, Jax's dad. He's a professional musician and we were thrilled to be there to see him perform.

While we were there, Ben was home making a cake for Mother's Day, and texted and called with so many question and few crises, it was cute, yet annoying. I appreciated everything he was doing though and felt bad I wasn't there to help. He seems to have produced a surprisingly good cake, which we shall ice tomorrow to take to church and celebrate Mothers Day with other mums. I usually make a really big cake for church, but this year, the children and husbands are pulling all the stops for the mums and I've been spared:(

As I forgot to take a picture at the gig, I had to think of an emergency blip and so here we are. This is a picture of tea house in the IFC that I pass by regularly. These are just tea tins for storage and those who 'know' me ... Will know that I have my eyes firmly set on the pink tins! I like both shades of pink there and would be hard pressed to decide which to buy, when/if I get the opportunity. Which colours do you'll like then??? This tea house also does a good afternoon tea, although I've never been.

Looking forward to tomorrow, I shall miss/remember my mum and mother-in-law dearly though. Wishing all mums in Oz and the US and here (and everywhere else that celebrates it tomorrow) a very happy Mother's Day!!!
