Cherry Tree in the Snow
It was a u3a committee meeting this afternoon, but we went for a meal at the local Wetherspoons, so not much committee work was carried out.
My car thermometer was reading minus three when I went out at lunch time and minus one when I came home. There was freezing fog and I was pleased to be home. The car park in town was just snow and ice, nothing had been gritted, the roads and pavements in town were almost as bad.
Today’s picture is of one of our cherry trees, taken after I arrived home, where there was very little fog at all.
The temperature at noon today was minus three degrees Celsius.
