A bus trip through the freezing fog to Glasgow. It's Been about 35 years since I last took the bus to Glasgow. All thanks to the train strike.

The girls did a bit of shopping whilst the boys drove through and met us at the hotel.

Despite my years of both kids at Glasgow Universities I never managed dinner at Ox and Finch. My goodness, its good. The benchmark for roast potatoes and blackbean sprouts has been well and truly set!

And Paolo, such a talented musician, and that from the boys who don't really know/like him. I was so thrilled that my boy had secured our tickets when he was home in the summer. If he were here I would squeeze him to within an inch of his life.
