Digging!

Either for a drain or possibly a new drive to agricultural building which the owner is hoping to get permission for residential conversion.

Today my faith in the human race was restored. I usually park for free but there were no spaces. So I had to use the car park and as I had no cash, I tried to pay by the “pay by phone” system.

However it would not work but luckily there was the traffic warden nearby so I explained the situation. He had a look and said “this system is a pain in the bum” - don’t worry I’ll remember so go and do your shopping and have a nice day. No ticket when I returned so a nice chap all round.
