Cat behaving badly!

Beginning with a little present on the kitchen floor when Jon came down. And yes, he trod in it. I felt sorry for Ralph so left him in last night. He usually meows to go out at about 4am, so I don't know why he didn't last night.

I went to the allotment first thing. It was very icy, but warmed up later on. The water was very frozen in Bessie's bowl.

And this evening, Ralph gave himself away when something clunked onto the radiator. There he was, behind the curtain, on the window sill! It led us to a discussion again about how we can tackle our expensive heating problem, which isn't really making us warm, but is still costing A LOT. The single radiator downstairs is sending its heat up and out the window. The lounge is still only just off cool and I'm relying on the open fire for some warmth. We even had a bit of snow today but thankfully it didn't settle.

Been doing some reading this evening, and going over questions and scenarios. Topping up my fire while Jon is out at scouts and watching some Christmas film tv.
