Winter lights

At the North Carolina Arboretum last night with Dee, her sister and her sister in law. So pretty. I have more photos in the camera I may make a collage with and add to the extras. The lights were great but not as extravagant as where we visited last year at Brookgreen Gardens.

Last night was cold walking through the garden. Fog and misting rain this cold morning. We had planned to visit a waterfall close to where we were staying but changed our mind with the rain. We could barely see the mountains from our motel which sat on top of a big hill as the first photo on the left shows.

We decided to go back for the waterfall another day. We can do this as a day trip when the falls might have icicles formed as the weather will be getting much colder in NC.
