The ancient church in our village resonated to the young Christmas voices of all the Yr5/6 children this afternoon. It was a lovely occasion and well worth the slippery walk to get there. I felt “ancient” as my daughter and 10 year old grandson insisted on walking Grandpa home to ensure he made it without slipping over! The last 10 metres were the worst. The novelty of the frozen snow and ice is definitely wearing off now!
