Washburn Valley

A family day, starting with making ham and cheese rolls (not what you'd think... slices of ham spread with cream cheese, rolled into little bites).

Met up with GAH&F in Harrogate for lunch, followed by lots of time in the playground in the Valley Gardens. Some very excitable small children, both of whom were completely fascinated by the lads in the skate park performing some amazing tricks. Looks like micro-scooters is the in-thing these days.

This was taken at the back end of the afternoon, hanging out of the roof window looking down the Washburn Valley. The reservoir you can just see in the near-ground is Swinstey, with Fewston reservoir in the background.
