Up to Dundee today and I have to say the Tay is more mucky brown than silver but then the Danube is not blue either. This shot is taken from where the ferry came into Broughty from Tayport in Fife before rail and road bridges rendered it obsolute.
In the distance can be seen the city of Dundee whose prosperity was founded on the 3J's listed above of which only journalism survives in the form of DC Thomson, publishers of the Sunday Post, Desperate Dan and the Broons amongst other iconic Scottish characters.
