what we plan vz what actually happened

Planned: trip to London to see friend & visit Van Gogh immersive experience.

Happened: home all day. Put up the last of the decorations.

Friend was nervous of ice / failing public transport/ etc etc. It was okay, there'll be another time. And all decorations up now!
