Cold but beautiful

This morning walking the dogs, it was so beautiful. Very cold but the snow and ice was glittering in the sunrise. The sky was a soft pink colour, ethereal. The dogs had a great time, we met J and Peggy spaniel across the fields so they all had a play and Sid and Peggy raced around. It was -11 early morning.
On our evening walk, it was just as the sun had set and the sky was brilliant orange. The snow and ice on the ground with darkness descending and the orange sky was spectacular. The dogs are now snoozing on the sofa next to me. I’m not snoozing yet though ;-)
