The Wren and the Fly

I spotted this little wren searching for food this morning and managed to get one 'in focus' (almost) shot. I can't get out to top up the bird feeders at the moment as yesterday we had sleet / rain which then immediately froze, so my paving is like the surface of an ice rink. I'm surprised the paving didn't thaw when the temperature went up to 4C this afternoon - I guess the ground must be frozen as this cold snap has gone on so long. More admin today and a bit of reading.
