Big relief that Charley's op went well today. He had to have a cyst removed from above his eye that was causing him bother and also a growth from his gum which appeared very suddenly. The vet thinks it's unlikely to be malignant as it came away very easily. Always a bigger worry having a general anaesthetic on an old dog (he's 14 now) but he's coped really well and fortunately we didn't have to wait long for the phone call to say all was well. He's come home with a cone of course and he likes to help in the kitchen so cue bruised legs! 

I had another cold day out with the dogs but everyone was good. Enjoyed seeing Bingo and Tommy chasing each other round through all the frosty leaves at Beacon Hill, having the best time.
