Friends

Today has been lovely, but now I am so tired!

So I had to get up at 7am this morning to go and help with interviews for the next Christian School's Worker in Reading. Anna, Grace and Sarah came too. Basically we had to go and watch them do assemblies which they might do in a school and then give our feedback to the people who were doing the interviewing. It was an interesting experience and I enjoyed it.

Afterwards we were going to get a lift back to church with Chrissy but she forgot and left without us!! So we walked instead which was actually really fun. We went through the cemetery on the way which was nice as I have never been in there before. There are quite a few memorials for soldiers which was quite sad to see. Anyway we took this photo in the cemetery, me, Anna, Sarah and Grace. Once we got to the end of the cemetery Grace had said there was a gate to get through. It was true, there was a gate, but it was padlocked shut so we had to climb over it!

Anyway, eventually we got to church and changed into our dresses in 153 and went over to the hall for the Ladies Buffet Lunch! It was such a lovely time, scrumptious food and a really good speaker called Meg who is from the Soldier's and Airmen's Scripture Reading Association. She goes into army garrisons and talks to the soldiers, befriending them and telling them the gospel. It sounds amazing and she was very funny. Our choir sang our songs as well. I think they went fairly well.

Overall, a fabulous day! :-)
