Last minute gifts

Today, we finally got around to starting Christmas shopping, yes, yes I know some of you have had yours bought, wrapped and labelled by the first of December.
 
Ours is more of fluid affair ( ie. disorganised ) all the more so this year what with rail strikes and postal strikes.
Whether we like it or not we are being forced to go digital especially for  those members of the family (all in our case) living south of the border.
 
Already I am seeing an increase in electronic Christmas cards and young relatives requesting digital stuff, or vouchers for “ experiences”.
