We have ice and lots of it sitting around -2.5. I am finding even with gripers on my boots it's havoc on my back making it hard to walk in too.
 Council boys are putting grit bins in housing estates and filling ones around schools and so on. We have not had our bins emptied as the bin wagon could not get to ours as roads not gritted.

We are having to grit our own paths, pavements and so on, Raymond and a neighbour have already put grit down for al our neighbours so they and we can walk safely without falling. It is absolutely shocking cut backs to what cost. Apparently there have already been a lot of accidents with people falling, making it worse we no longer have an A&E as such in Portree we need to travel approximately 30 miles to Broadford. We are going backwards in my opinion.
