Where eagles dare

We're having a stove fitted in a C17th chimney. Last spring we had the chimney cleaned out, and very soon afterwards a cap was put on the top. In the intervening couple of days, it feels like we were visited by an eagle who built this lot, It was cleared out today. Wildlife isn't always something I feel benevolent about!
