The Most Beautiful Adventure of Spring

That's what the Holmenkollen Relay Race has been called for as long as I remember. This year my eldest son Eirik participated, running the 14th leg for his company Merisma. The whole family was there to cheer and support him, and the atmosphere was absolutely phenomenal.

The Holmenkollen Relay Race is an annual running relay with 15 legs that starts at Bislett stadium, goes up to Holmenkollen and returns back at the stadium. The race is open to everyone - professionals, businesses and other groups.

A record was set in 2012 with 2,508 finishing teams. Over 50,000 teams with more than 750,000 runners have participated in Holmenkollen Relay Race.
