Aka Robert Louis Stevenson, a local author.  Blip is of the first publication of Treasure Island, serialized in Young Folks in October 1881 no 565 in the Pen Names exhibit at the National Library of Scotland. 
Extra is a book with the printing date 4 April 1508, from Scotland's first printing press "established in Edinburgh (in what is now the Cowgate) by Walter Chepman and Androw Myllar"

Walked over to a meeting in the NLS. Had useful results and might produce more. Sunny, freezing, well salted pavements.
