Reedmace

It snowed overnight and has done so on and off all day, though gradually becoming more sleety as the day wore on.
I got some housework done and then went out for a run in a dry spell. I put the running spikes on over the shoes as it was inpossible to tell where the icy bits were under the snow, though generally there was enough snow over the ice. I went round the ponds and then across to the golf course and round the ponds there (where there were a couple of very unafraid roe deer, see extra) and up and down some fairways that were sheer ice yesterday. It's harder work running in these conditions, especially after a spell of quite high mileage, but at least there's no pressure to go fast!.
I wrapped most of the rest of the Christmas presents in the afternoon and have been sorting out some picture framing options and haven't ventured out again.
