Organ Day

LEIDEN - The draaiorgeldag (organ day) in Leiden Hoogelandse kerk (Highland church) was again a crowded Saturday. The organization estimates that over five thousand interested people came to watch the organs.

In total there were 20 organs and one by one their sounds were heard. Organizer ProKwadraat hopes that the cultural heritage remains a bit preserved and cherished to this day. Because many traditional Dutch street organs have been sold abroad.
