Morning Sun

I know this looks like it’s taken at the beginning or end of the day but was actually taken late morning. It was much brighter than it appears. Looking towards Inchkeith and East Lothian.

My brother and I travelled up to Fife two days ago to be with our dad and older brother.
Dad had already sorted all the arrangements for mum’s funeral before we got here.
It’s been good for the four of us to be together and talk about mum, each of us with different memories of her.

We were in need of some fresh air and a bit of exercise so we went to Kirkcaldy for a walk along the esplanade and then enjoyed coffee and cake at Bob & Bert’s coffee shop in town.

Older brother headed home this morning, little bro and I will head home tomorrow.
We’ll be back again soon.
