Patterns in patterns in patterns

Today's DDW challenge prompt, patterns, had me looking for and seeing patterns in just about everything.

This is ornamental allium - of the onion/garlic family. It's one of my favorite flowers to photograph. You can see patterns in the whole flower, patterns in the individual little flowers that make up the whole, patterns in the stems. If you look LARGE, you'll see the patterns even better. It dries - and looks a bit like - a tumbleweed and catches in other plants, like this one from last year still in the garden.

Here is an album of more patterns I noticed today. And of course, I've been humming this song all day.
