on the town

Antony took a day off so we could shop together before Christmas. Lots of fun. But also lots of traffic so we missed the school pick up and very nearly missed Eve’s return. Grandad was back up…. thanks Grandad! It was great to be reunited with Eve, after only two nights away she had developed a new accent which I had to fight hard not to mention. She must have the same affliction as me and catch people’s accents! It soon faded.

Ant and I had a night out watching the Halle and a big band do a Swingin’ Christmas spectacular. So fun!

Home and to bed….. unfortunately we were woken by poor Eve. She’d caught a sickness bug as well as a new accent.
