Roses grow on you!

So said the old advert for a certain chocolate sweet. 
I just liked the late afternoon sun catching the rose petals.
Yesterday’s snow has begun to recede aided by some heavy rain this morning. However, the pavements around us are still highly treacherous, not having been gritted or cleared in any way. Fingers crossed  that the thaw continues as Chloe is becoming a bit stir crazy. She has had to exercise by charging round the garden again.
