Second Lunch

Thursday Gang Christmas Lunch
I arrived at the rugby club around 10:00am and after a coffee started preparing lunch. A traditional one, turkey & gammon with all the trimmings, vegetable soup to start, trifle, Christmas pudding, cheese & biscuits, coffee and mints to round it off.
Lubrication came in the form of Proper Job pale ale, red wine, port and Baileys.
Nine of us had a great afternoon, it’s a great way to look back over the year, lots of food, too much to drink, great company but by the end of the day I was glad to get home, shower and head off to bed.

I knew I was going to suffer for over indulging.
