Angling enthusiasts.

I always thought that Golfers were the fanatics who would play in any weather.

But here on the shore in Arnside this morning I came across this Angling competition.
The temperature was 1C and there was still a lot of ice around.
I think they were waiting for the tide to come in bringing fish with it. I don’t know much about it really but I believe they would be catching Flounders, also known as Flat fish and locally as Flukes.

I admire their enthusiasm.
