First snowshoe hike of this winter!

Not long, but partially steep hike – on the way down we felt we were better off without the snowshoes. 

The view on top was spectacular. Regarding wild animals, we saw a deer running around. It made Djeili go crazy and the mountains reverberated with the sound of her yodelling. 

Seems Djeili lady is getting older. She was shivering on the way up in the gondola, a first time for us. Gonna buy a little dog blanket/rug for her. I had bought her winter booties, but these seem to hurt her quite a bit, so we will not be using them anymore. I think I have to dial back on the winter hikes to make them more suit her needs.
