Inspired by wabi-sabi.

I was waiting for the bus in Kendal when I noticed this intriguing repair to the building opposite.
It reminded me of the Japanese art of kintsugi- but that is the art of repairing with gold. This then must be wabi-sabi, to ‘honour flaws and imperfections and draw attention to them’.
