Natural Bug Hotel

Managed a short dog walk this morning, shortened by puncturing a finger while litter picking on the towpath. I assume one of meds I am on caused the small wound to refuse to stop bleeding. It did stop before I got back home but has left me with a swollen and blue finger! 
I did see the above Bug Hotel from a dead section of tree while growth continues below and beyond!
Starting the run into Christmas with a funeral tomorrow, a grand old keeper who has graced my journal a few years ago.
I will get back on track shortly.......:-(
