Walk

I have been experiencing ‘Cabin Fever’ today It isn’t that I haven’t been getting out of the house, I have been , on a daily basis! It’s because I haven’t been able to go for a walk in open fields or along the river due to the weather. Our cul de sac has been like an ice rink. Today was slightly warmer with light rain. I thought I would brave a walk by the river. What I hadn’t bargained for was the impact of rain on compacted ice adding to slipperiness . However, I managed to stay upright (just!), and once by the river stuck to walking on grassy areas! I returned home an hour or so later, soaked through but happy to have got out!
Tomorrow is forecast to be a lot warmer. Maybe we will see the snow and ice disappearing , at least for a while!!!
