Icy snow

It was pretty cold this morning, down to -9°C. But the sun was shining, all was white, so I went for a long hike nevertheless.
The snow was in average just a couple of centimetres high, maximally 5cm. I believe I already wrote that we hardly get any rain. Of course this is also true for snow and hail.
Due to the cold the snow had transformed to ice, as (I hope) can be seen in my blip of the gras I walked on. Especially the trees, bushes and higher plants look very interesting. But also gras, I think.
