HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to ME!

What does a micrometer caliper have to do with Mother's Day, you might ask. It's not so much what the subject is, it's the fact that it's a MACRO!! My daughter insisted talked me into getting a 'good' camera because she was enjoying the Blip experience so much and thought I would too. I have little to no photography skills other than 'point & shoot' plus a bit of luck, but now I'm trying to learn what my great little camera is capable of. Today's accomplishment was a macro shot - just turn a dial & click a button or two, and you have it! This micrometer is no more than 2" across the U-shaped part, so I'm amazed how clear the tiny numbers are. The learning has been interesting, challenging and fun, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the Blip experience. It's like the gift that keeps on giving. :-)
