Cleared up the kitchen and did some more knitting (think it’s beginning to sink into muscle memory as a pattern but I do keep going unaccountably wrong annoyingly!). A came round with Paisley so she could do some shopping in town and we had a very productive few hours, getting her last presents that she needed and an outfit for the wedding on the 30th (well, two actually but they both turned out not to be ideal so will go back). Home just as the sleety rain started, and getting dark despite being only 3pm, but at least that’s the shortest day ticked off now!
She wrapped some of her presents and we planned some necessary baking and dog sitting for the wedding, she ordered replacement bar stools then I made roast chicken dinner and we watched a lightweight film based on an odd premise but featuring cakes by Ottolenghi
Nice companionable day, with 11000+ steps and an early night but no photos so have to make do with an emergency star light.
