The Way of Water

Being in the clean up and restoration game, LadyV’s business gets exceptionally busy when extreme weather starts causing trouble in commercial and domestic premises.

With the prolonged arctic cold snap causing pipes across the country to start bursting, it’s fair to say that she’s had quite a few calls this week and unnecessarily, yet apologetically had to work this morning.

Feeling surprising well despite the alcohol and late-night junk food consumed yesterday, I was determined to do something and with Christmas shopping already completed, I opted for a morning showing of Avatar: The Way of Water. As with all James Cameron films, it was absolutely stunning to look at - the visual effects just on a whole new level - but it did feel a bit flabby around the middle and really didn’t need to be three hours long. Despite this though, it really is something that needs to be seen on the big screen as the world Cameron has created is truly breathtaking. 

I had a little wander around a bustling Lancaster after, but in truth was happy to get away from there as the Christmas shopping seemed to be reaching fever pitch!

The rest of the day was nice and relaxing with some quality time with her ladyship and watching Hamza deservedly win this year’s Strictly crown.
