Not all gone...

The snow that fell in the early hours of Friday morning started to melt almost immediately.  But the rain didn't wash it all away and below zero temperatures on Friday and Saturday nights left patches here and there, and some very treacherous ice around the house.

This splash of white was still at our gate this afternoon, and the track was also white here and there, and very slippy on the bits which were still in shade.
