In happier days

Sept 1, 2002 - Edinburgh.  Me, Neil A., S & I.  I have known Neil since secondary school - the only person I maintained contact with from any of the schools I attended.  This made him, after my brother, the person I have known longest.  It grieves me deeply to say he passed away after a lengthy illness, a couple of nights ago.  He was a good friend and a good man; a better man than me in many ways, and I'm sad that when I think of him now, he'll no longer just be at home, in Scotland.
