Model Christmas

We played Mahjong at Ann’s house this afternoon. She greeted us with a little glass of warming Masala, and then tasty nibbles. Ann went on have a resounding win. We were attracted to the pretty decoration on her window sill which she had made from a kit with her granddaughter.
This morning I went to a local garden centre to cross off the last few Christmas presents on my list. After I had been there a few minutes all the lights went out. It was a widespread local power cut which wouldn’t be put right for a couple of hours. Luckily they had one battery operated till so shopping could continue. I managed some useful shopping thankfully.
