Arctotis or Tetrapanax

Also known as the Aurora Daisy or African Daisy. I first planted it when we built our house, and it was planted straight into clay soil after the earth works had been done for the house. It formed a mass of ground cover with these bright flowers, plus it comes in several different shades. My book on plants says it is not hardy, but it certainly survives at our place and without any care.
